Why these defaults?

The country code comes from ISO 3166. Unicode CLDR supplies presentation-oriented locale, currency, paper, date, language, calendar, numbering, and direction metadata. Defaults reduce setup time; they do not decide what a valid document must contain.

Recorded official or regional-official language tags: hy.

Document vocabulary and checks

Armenia's E-Invoicing lifecycle, TIN and VAT electronic-ledger contexts are reviewed. Field schema, TIN/serial validation, File Online access/integration, electronic-document issuance/adjustment/signing, ledger operations, VAT submission/payment and transaction-specific treatment remain separately researched or unimplemented scopes.

Evidence snapshot: 3 official sources · last reviewed 2026-07-18. This is scoped guidance, not a jurisdiction-wide compliance certification.

Tax labels: ԱԱՀ (VAT). Business identifier labels: Հարկ վճարողի հաշվառման համար (TIN).

  • Guidance: Armenia's State Revenue Committee says its E-Invoicing system has operated since 1 June 2023 and allows electronic accounting documents to be issued, adjusted, received, invalidated, cancelled, deleted and signed; it also provides serial-number validity lookup. The Committee says a taxpayer's TIN is its unique identifier and separately records electronic-ledger context for VAT-paying organisations and sole proprietors. This local preview does not validate a TIN or electronic-invoice serial number, access or integrate with File Online, issue/adjust/sign/invalidate/cancel an electronic accounting document, maintain an electronic ledger, submit or pay VAT, or determine VAT/exemption and transaction-specific treatment.Evidence AM_SRC_EINVOICING, AM_SRC_TIN_IDENTIFIER, AM_SRC_ELECTRONIC_LEDGER · reviewed 2026-07-18 · review by 2027-01-18 · automation advisory only
