Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 27, 2026

1. Local-Only Processing

All information you enter into any document generator on this site (including names, addresses, prices, quantities, currency types, and terms) is processed and rendered locally in your browser session. The generator does not send those document details to a Formnivo document backend or third-party document storage API for core editing.

2. Local Browser Storage

We use browser-native storage technologies (such as IndexedDB) to save active drafts on this device. You can remove a draft with "Reset" in the document header, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.

For a plain-language explanation of what browser-local editing protects and what still needs backup or device care, read the local-first invoice privacy guide.

3. Google Analytics

Formnivo uses Google Analytics 4 when a page loads to understand how people find and use the site. Google Analytics may use a first-party identifier and process page paths, referrer information, browser and device details, approximate geography, engagement time, and the limited feature-usage metadata described below. Depending on the Google Analytics property's measurement settings, it may also record standard engagement events such as scrolling, outbound-link clicks, and file downloads.

Formnivo sends only a closed set of product metadata for custom events: document type, template identifier, country code, event subtype, and numeric counts where relevant. Page locations sent by Formnivo exclude query strings and URL fragments.

4. Document data excluded from analytics

Analytics never receives the names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, document numbers, item descriptions, prices, quantities, totals, tax amounts, notes, terms, uploaded logos, signatures, or imported and exported backup contents entered in the document workspace. These values remain in your browser and are not added to analytics event names, properties, page URLs, or titles.

5. Analytics controls

You can restrict analytics cookies through your browser's privacy settings, use a content-blocking tool, or install Google's browser opt-out add-on. Blocking analytics does not prevent you from creating, editing, saving locally, printing, or exporting documents.

6. Google as a service provider

Google processes analytics data under its own terms and privacy policies. Formnivo disables advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, Google signals, and ad-personalization signals in this implementation. For more information, readGoogle's Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to this policy

If the analytics provider, collected fields, or processing purpose changes materially, this policy will be updated before the expanded measurement is enabled.
