Why these defaults?
The country code comes from ISO 3166. Unicode CLDR supplies presentation-oriented locale, currency, paper, date, language, calendar, numbering, and direction metadata. Defaults reduce setup time; they do not decide what a valid document must contain.

Australian GST tax-invoice particulars and ABN presentation, the general five-year GST record period, electronic-record controls, and the Peppol eInvoicing boundary are reviewed from ATO and ABR sources. This generator does not transmit through Peppol. Registration, recipient-created invoices, adjustments, special supplies and transaction-specific GST treatment remain separate scopes.

- Guidance: ATO eInvoicing uses the Peppol network and is different from emailing a PDF. This generator produces a human-readable document only; it does not create or transmit a Peppol eInvoice. Electronic records remain subject to the same preservation and accessibility requirements as paper records.Evidence AU_ATO_EINVOICING, AU_ATO_ELECTRONIC_RECORDS · reviewed 2026-07-20 · review by 2027-01-20 · automation advisory only
