Why these defaults?

The country code comes from ISO 3166. Unicode CLDR supplies presentation-oriented locale, currency, paper, date, language, calendar, numbering, and direction metadata. Defaults reduce setup time; they do not decide what a valid document must contain.

  • Guidance: Bolivia's National Tax Service (SIN) defines electronic invoices as digitally fiscal documents emitted through an authorised invoicing system and registered and validated in SIN's database. Electronic-online issuance uses a digital signature, token/credentials and XML submission; the electronic document receives a SIN validation result.
