Why these defaults?

The country code comes from ISO 3166. Unicode CLDR supplies presentation-oriented locale, currency, paper, date, language, calendar, numbering, and direction metadata. Defaults reduce setup time; they do not decide what a valid document must contain.

DIAN sources support the cited electronic-sales-invoice vocabulary, identifiers, visible particulars and authority-system boundary. This printable Factura is not DIAN-generated or validated and does not perform registration, numbering authorization, signing, XML generation, QR/CUFE creation or submission. Record retention is not yet evidenced here, so this pack remains partial; transaction, sector and document-specific requirements remain separate checks.

  • Required when applicable: When a Colombian electronic sales invoice is required, DIAN's current framework identifies seller and purchaser, NIT or applicable buyer identity, authorised consecutive numbering, goods or services, payment and tax information, total, QR verification, and CUFE among the relevant data.
