  • Guidance: Ethiopia's VAT Proclamation requires a registered person making a taxable supply to issue the original tax invoice at the time of supply. It allows a simplified invoice for qualifying low-value cash or retail supplies and requires a recipient-created tax invoice for specified reverse-charge supplies. The Proclamation assigns detailed invoice particulars to regulations.
