Why these defaults?
The country code comes from ISO 3166. Unicode CLDR supplies presentation-oriented locale, currency, paper, date, language, calendar, numbering, and direction metadata. Defaults reduce setup time; they do not decide what a valid document must contain.
Recorded official or regional-official language tags: en, yo.

Document vocabulary and checks
Nigeria's harmonised Tax ID vocabulary and announced Electronic Fiscal System boundary are reviewed from directly accessible official sources. Current primary evidence for national invoice particulars, document-level Tax ID obligations, record retention, and the complete current EFS scope is still required before core promotion. Formnivo does not determine VAT or EFS applicability, validate a Tax ID, integrate a taxpayer, transmit or validate an invoice, obtain authority identifiers, fiscalise a document, or report a supply.

Tax labels: VAT. Business identifier labels: Tax Identification Number (TIN).
- Guidance: The official NRS Tax ID portal explains that Nigeria's harmonised Tax ID is linked to the NIN for individuals or CAC records for businesses. This generator records an identifier supplied by the user; it does not determine when the identifier must appear, retrieve it, or validate it with NRS.Evidence NG_NRS_TAX_ID · reviewed 2026-07-19 · review by 2027-01-19 · automation advisory only
- Guidance: The official 2025 rollout notice required large taxpayers with annual turnover of NGN 5 billion or more to onboard to the Electronic Fiscal System and begin real-time invoice generation, validation, and transmission from 1 August 2025. This local document is not an EFS/Merchant-Buyer e-invoice: it does not onboard, transmit, validate, obtain an authority identifier, fiscalise, or report a supply. Confirm the current taxpayer wave and NRS transition notice before relying on a printable invoice.Evidence NG_FIRS_EINVOICE_ADVISORY · reviewed 2026-07-19 · review by 2027-01-19 · automation advisory only
