- Guidance: North Macedonia's Public Revenue Office (UJP) identifies taxpayers through the unique tax number (ЕДБ) and publishes VAT guidance on invoices. UJP says an unauthorized issuer of a VAT invoice becomes liable for that VAT and must pay it within five working days and file a return. Ministry of Finance and UJP material records the e-Invoice project as a government initiative, while the published VAT guidance records invoice-based input-tax context.
