Why these defaults?
The country code comes from ISO 3166. Unicode CLDR supplies presentation-oriented locale, currency, paper, date, language, calendar, numbering, and direction metadata. Defaults reduce setup time; they do not decide what a valid document must contain.
Recorded official or regional-official language tags: wo, fr, ff, srr, dyo, sav, mfv, bjt, snf, knf, bsc, mey-Latn, tnr.

Document vocabulary and checks
Senegal's base taxpayer-invoice particulars and the 2025 Finance Law's electronic-invoicing addition are reviewed. This local Facture is not issued or transmitted through the required public or administration platform. NINEA validation, taxpayer status, exemption, rate, implementation detail and transaction-specific treatment remain separate scopes.
Evidence snapshot: 2 official sources · last reviewed 2026-07-19. This is scoped guidance, not a jurisdiction-wide compliance certification.
Tax labels: VAT. Business identifier labels: National Enterprise and Association Identification Number (NINEA).
- Guidance: Senegal's General Tax Code requires a taxpayer invoice to show the issuer's name, exact address and NINEA; a unique, continuous chronological number; applicable turnover taxes and rate; any applicable specific tax and rate; and the tax-inclusive price. It also requires a statutory reference for exempt, customer-accounted VAT or margin-scheme transactions. This local preview does not validate NINEA, establish taxpayer status, determine exemptions or rates, or file, clear, or transmit tax records.Evidence SN_MFB_GENERAL_TAX_CODE_ART_447 · reviewed 2026-07-19 · review by 2027-01-19 · automation advisory only
