Why these defaults?
The country code comes from ISO 3166. Unicode CLDR supplies presentation-oriented locale, currency, paper, date, language, calendar, numbering, and direction metadata. Defaults reduce setup time; they do not decide what a valid document must contain.

Thai Revenue Department sources support the cited VAT tax-invoice particulars. Record retention and the current e-Tax Invoice/e-Receipt issuance and submission boundary are not yet evidenced here, so this pack remains partial. Abbreviated invoices, foreign-language or currency approvals and special VAT circumstances remain transaction-specific checks.

Tax labels: VAT. Business identifier labels: Taxpayer Identification Number.
- Required when applicable: A Thai VAT tax invoice must prominently show 'Tax Invoice', the issuing VAT registrant's name and taxpayer ID, purchaser name and address, serial number, description/type/category/quantity/value of goods or services, VAT separately from supply value, and issue date.
