Invoice for Curaçao

Create a private, browser-local invoice and set the workspace to Curaçao for XCG formatting and A4 print output.

Country-aware checks

  • Tax terminology: Omzetbelasting
  • Business ID label: Crib-nummer / Kamer van Koophandel registratienummer
  • Curaçao's own tax legislation requires an invoice for covered supplies and services. Article 44 requires the issue date; a continuous unique number; the supplier's name or trade name, address, Crib number and Chamber of Commerce registration number; the customer's name or trade name and address; a clear description and quantity or extent; unit price excluding turnover tax; a different supply/completion date; applicable rate or exemption/customer-liability statement; consideration and non-unit-price discounts; turnover-tax amount; and total payable. The customer copy is marked ‘factuur’ and the retained copy ‘kopie factuur’. Statutory exceptions must be checked separately.
  • Administration-liable persons keep their administration and related data carriers for ten years. The issuer must also make and retain a copy of every issued invoice; a longer hold may be needed for an unresolved matter or another law.
  • Curaçao separately regulates sealed fiscal cash-register systems and cash receipts for designated cash-facing businesses, including retail, hospitality and lottery categories, with specified exceptions and possible invoice relief. This browser-local invoice does not operate a sealed fiscal cash register, produce its fiscal logo or replace a required kassabon; determine the current designation and exemption before use.
