Country-aware checks
- Tax terminology: Consumption Tax
- Business ID label: Qualified Invoice Registration Number
- For a Japanese qualified invoice, show the issuer's name and registration number, transaction date, transaction details (including reduced-rate items where relevant), and totals and consumption-tax amount or applicable tax rate by tax-rate category, plus the recipient's name.
- Qualified invoices and the related books used for consumption-tax input credits are generally retained for seven years from the prescribed post-tax-period date; the NTA identifies a limited sixth- and seventh-year alternative between books and invoices.
- Japanese electronic-record rules govern preservation of electronically created or received tax records. This generator produces a display/export document and does not itself establish compliance with the Electronic Books Preservation Act controls.
