Country-aware checks
- Tax terminology: General Sales Tax
- Business ID label: Tax Number / National Number
- Jordan's invoicing regulation requires baseline seller identity, address and tax or national number, invoice date, description and value, and the buyer name for credit or installment sales. Issue the invoice when the sale occurs and deliver a copy using the applicable method.
- Use the applicable Jordan taxpayer identification number. ISTD provides official tax-number certificates and taxpayer electronic-registration services; Formnivo does not verify enrollment or identity.
- Retain invoices for four years starting from the latest applicable date identified in Regulation No. 34 of 2019, and longer while a related tax dispute remains unresolved.
- Persons obligated under Jordan's National E-Invoicing System must register and issue through the national system or an integrated accounting system. A local Formnivo document is not registered, linked, transmitted, or recognized by ISTD as a national e-invoice.
