Country-aware checks
- Tax terminology: MWST (VAT)
- Business ID label: UID / MWST Number
- Liechtenstein VAT Act article 26 says an invoice must clearly identify the supplier, recipient and nature of the supply and normally state the supplier's trading name/place and VAT-register number; recipient's trading name/place; supply date or period when different from invoice date; nature, subject and extent of the supply; consideration; and applicable rate plus tax amount (or the rate alone when consideration includes tax). Recipient details may be omitted from automated till receipts below the government-set threshold.
- VAT Act articles 57 and 42 require business books, vouchers, business papers and other records to be kept until the absolute tax-assessment limitation expires: 10 years after the end of the tax period. Records connected with input-tax relief or own-use calculations for immovable property are kept for 20 years.
- The VAT Act allows paperless transmission and storage only under conditions set by government. The Office for Finance's eInvoice channel is a separate structured public-administration workflow; a PDF or this local preview is not that transmitted eInvoice and does not validate UID/MWST identifiers or send to a public buyer.
